Building Hope, Sharing Love: Our Foundation's Story

Our Foundation exists to advance the mission of St. Francis Hospice. We provide compassionate, quality care for the terminally ill, support for their loved ones and resources for community members faced with end-of-life concerns. We are able to provide this comprehensive array of services because of caring supporters throughout our community who realize the difference they can make by becoming involved and giving. There are many ways to support our mission, whether volunteering your time, raising awareness of the services we provide or providing financial support for our programs.

Caregiver Support

St. Francis Hospice Lifestage Care offers a free training program with practical tools to help all family caregivers – past, present, and future. Educating caregivers on Compassionate Communication, the Spiritual Aspects of Caregiving, End-of-Life Care, and Making Important Decisions.

Grief Support for Adults

The grief of losing someone we love is often a stressful and confusing process. The St. Francis Hospice grief support team works with the family members who are grieving the loss of a loved one. We help families and loved ones through the grieving process, however long that is free of charge in Brevard County Support the grieving adults program

There are few privileges greater than honoring someone who has served our country. It involves acknowledging their sacrifices, providing compassionate care, and recognizing their military contributions. Grief Support for Children

Nothing breaks a heart like a child who is hurting. Your support helps our team of professional grief counselors provide emotional support to children in our community to help them work through their grief, teach healthy coping skills and offer a safe, supportive environment where they can express feelings of grief and loss, and begin the process of healing. Pet Pledge

People who have pets know that they are not just animals, they are a part of the family. We understand this and want to make sure that our furry family members are cared for too. Through your generous support, we are able to give our patients peace of mind that their most cherished companions will be loved and cared for in the future when they can no longer provide that care. Although it is heartbreaking, there are people who live in our community who do not have the resources to cover some of their most basic needs. That’s why we created Te-Kisha’s fund. By supporting this fund you make it possible for terminally ill patients in our care to receive necessary items such as meals, sheets and even a last wish celebration.
