Angelique Bonadio, Heart of Hospice Honoree

It is an honor and privilege to introduce Heart of Hospice honoree, Angelique Bonadio.

Angelique joined St. Francis Reflections almost 2yrs ago and in that time she has shown that she fully embodies our core values. Working as the Lead Volunteer Coordinator, she dedicates her time to ensuring that patient and family’s needs are met all while providing them the best volunteering experience possible as well as  and maintaining their safety during the pandemic. As a Volunteer Coordinator she is always there guiding volunteers in their assignments and encouraging them to learn new skills or tasks that will support the patients and SFR while giving them personal confidence and pleasure. A warm, friendly smile greets everyone. She works to assists with Veteran Pinning’s, collaborates with community crafting partners and is involved with our Pet Pledge Program. However, her job is only part of her story.

Angelique embodies our mission as well as our philosophy of neighbor helping neighbor. She volunteers her time for our “What Matters Most” program. For example, if a patient or family indicates that a family photo is what is most important to them before the patient passes away, Angelique will take the family photos or capture the moments they want to preserve. She dedicates time to the self-care and wellness of the staff by providing mindful meditation for anyone who wants to participate. In addition, she also participates with other programs like our North Star events and our Wrapped in Pink services.

Angelique dedicates time in support of our community. As chair of the Reflections of Love committee, our Community Memorial Service, this past year she helped to expand the service to five cities making it the most impactful one yet. To do this, she led a large committee through attention to detail, precision, compassion and innovation. Her professionalism, calm spirit, kindness and problem solving skills led to five remarkable services which emotionally supported anyone grieving in our communities.

Angelique spends her time away from work giving back to the community. She is a Rotarian as well as being a Board member for LEAD Brevard. Additionally, she devotes time to distributing meals and assisting several faith communities to further serve our community.

Angelique embodies our mission and values in countless ways and St. Francis Reflections is fortunate that she shares her hospice heart with all of us.

Please join us in congratulating Angelique Bonadio, 2022 Heart of Hospice Recipient.
