Hats OFF Fun ON

Hats Off For Kids is a Kentucky Derby styled event and hat contest. Bring your Derby hat to enter into the contest with themes including: Kraziest hat, Space Coast themed hat, Favorite Movie themed hat and Most Elegant hat. Prizes will be awarded for each theme, but the real winners will be the families of Brevard through the NorthStar Child Grief Program.

Events like Hats Off for Kids, that benefit the NorthStar Child Grief Program mean that the monthly activities, support groups, and large scale memory making events are ON. Donors who come to an event not only get to have a great time, but they help make the rest of the year’s program happen. It is through events like this, grants, employee’s payroll contributions and ongoing donors to NorthStar that these activities are underwritten by the St. Francis Reflections Foundation. This support uplifts the life of a child, and their family, when a loss of a loved one occurs. Our most recent Outdoor Movie Night is just one example to bring families together at no cost to them for an evening of fun making new family memories.

If you would like to partner with us as a sponsor or buy tickets to Hats Off For Kids and bring your hat entry, please visit https://reflectionslsc.org/hatsoffforkids.

Children grieve differently and do so over time. The NorthStar program welcomes any child in Brevard County and they may remain with us for as long as they need, at no charge to the family. As the NorthStar guided mariners in the past, so NorthStar is guiding each child to a safe and secure shore.
