It is an honor and privilege to introduce Heart of Hospice honoree, Joan Logue.
For over 12 years, Joan has provided her compassionate care to the patients and families of St. Francis Reflections. She is a cornerstone in the foundation of care at the Edward M. Poe House Hospice Care Center in Titusville, even becoming the Lead RN for the team almost 2 years ago.
Joan maintains the core values in all she does and how she lives her life. She is the true embodiment of hospice! Compassionate and caring, constantly going above and beyond for the needs of the patients and families but also for her teammates. She ensures her patients and families receive not only the best end of life care with compassion, but she teaches and educates along the way to assist families with making the most informed decisions to guarantee individualized care for each patient.
Joan is an asset to any team she is on and her Sand Castle team is grateful for her leadership and friendship. A friend to all, always quick with a smile or comforting word. She is a problem solver and guides her teammates with her knowledge and expertise with being CHPN certified. Her teammates refer to her as compassionate, knowledgeable, and caring and going on to state it is obvious how much she loves her job and we all benefit from her dedication.
Joan’s dedication and commitment to our core values is evident in all she does. Serving with grace and kindness, her compassionate care and hospice heart truly benefit all those she cares for and serves alongside of her.
Please join us in congratulating Joan Logue, 2022 Heart of Hospice Recipient.
