Often it is the simplest gestures that make the most profound impact. At St. Francis Hospice Lifestage Care, we believe that providing comfort is part of providing care. Thanks to the incredible generosity of a special donor, we are thrilled to announce the addition of a new blanket warmer at our Melbourne Inpatient Care Unit that will help extend that care to our patients in the most meaningful way possible
For many patients, the experience of being in a medical setting can feel cold and intimidating. A little warmth can go a long way toward soothing both body and mind. This new blanket warmer, funded entirely by the kindness of donors, will offer an added layer of comfort to patients when they need it most.
“We are deeply grateful to our donors for their thoughtful contribution,” said Gina Crane, Clinical Manager. “This blanket warmer will bring comfort to so many people, and every time it’s used, it will be a reminder of the generosity that made it possible.” We want to extend our deepest thanks to our donors for making this possible. Their donations are not just an investment in equipment; they are an investment in people, and so many will benefit from this kindness.
