Winter 2021 - Reflections of Love
Divider logo line

The first week of November, St. Francis Reflections Lifestage Care kicked off the holiday season with Reflections of Love ceremonies, lighting special oak trees in five cities throughout Brevard including Cocoa, Palm Bay, Rockledge, Titusville and West Melbourne. These trees are a reminder for our community of those we have loved and lost. Each tree was lit with a special ceremony that included guest speakers reflecting on the relationships in our lives, guests placing rocks at the base of the tree that they personalized for their loved one, beautiful music played by local musicians, and the evening culminated with the lighting of the tree for all to see.

Each tree has a sign identifying it and multiple locations have commemorative benches that will remain with the tree after the lights are taken down at the end of January, showing the appreciation of St. Francis and our community partners that help make this special event. Those amazing partners include Peggy and Mike Ammen, Delta Rx, FP&L, and Rotary of Palm Bay. We would like to express our great appreciation to all of those at the cities who helped bring this to our communities. Special thank you to all of our guest speakers who included mayors, city council members, city managers, chiefs of police departments, community members, and St. Francis staff. This would not have been such a special time of coming together without each one of them participating.
