Over 100 people came together on June 24th to celebrate the opening of the St. Francis Reflections Hospice Care Center in Melbourne. The Care Center is for hospice patients who need round-the-clock care or respite care. The 10 private rooms provide a home-like setting where families can remain by their loved one’s side.  A family room with a kitchenette is available for families to enjoy their own meals and a quiet room offering a tranquil place to read or reflect.

St. Francis Reflections held the official ribbon cutting of the new facility in conjunction with many community partners including the Melbourne Regional Medical Center, the Great Palm Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Melbourne Regional Chamber, and the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce. “We are pleased to meet the growing needs of hospice patients in our community,” said Joe Killian, President and CEO of St. Francis Reflections.  “St. Francis Reflections has more than four decades of experience offering quality and compassionate care with an individualized focus on what matters most for each patient and family.”
