Holiday Island
Divider logo line

When you wish upon a star, makes no difference who you are. – Jiminy Cricket

Holiday Islands appeared to the delight of each NorthStar family. Disney princesses, princes, a godmother, Aladdin or if you preferred Nightmare before Christmas’ Oogie Boogie and Jack Skellington. Snoopy as well rounded out the places where wishes come true. Want to have snow falling? Step right up. Santa and Mrs. Claus with hot cocoa and cookies. Gifts, goodies and Chik-fil-A made the night delicious. The Grinch photo bombed many pictures but seem to have a good time as well.

In building new memories and hopeful futures for NorthStar kiddos this time to celebrate the holidays rings true. We hope that as this New Year begins we can continue to bring children and youth together as they navigate a loss in their lives. Any child in Brevard County is welcome to join the more than 160 kids who count on NorthStar to guide their way. We hope the magic of the islands will be remembered and cherished by each child and their families. Special events like the Holiday Islands and the NorthStar group meetings are made possible by the generosity of you and others in our community! Thank you for brining smiles to children and their families as they navigate their grief process.
